Chicken BLT on sourdough with basil & chive sour cream
Ideal as a snack or main course this sourdough recipe makes for a more interesting lunch with extra flavour.
Ingredients
- 2 Chicken breasts cooked and sliced
- ½ tbsp chopped basil
- ½ tbsp chopped chives
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- ½ tub Avonmore sour cream
- 4 slices Sour dough bread
- Washed mixed lettuce
- 1 sliced vine tomato
- 4 slices bacon, precooked
Method
Method:
In a small bowl, mix the basil, chives, lemon juice & sour cream & refrigerate.
To assemble
Spread sour cream mix over the sour dough bread and assemble sandwich with sliced chicken, lettuce, tomato & bacon on top.
